Savoring Burgers in Singapore

I’m completely smitten with this burger! It’s surprising because it’s so unexpected. Living in Singapore, it might seem odd to go for a burger when there’s so much incredible local food to enjoy. However, I’ve actually explored quite a bit of the local cuisine at food courts and hawker centers (as you may have seen on Instagram). Honestly, I wasn’t planning on finding my “burger love” when I did, so forgive the phone photos.

Anyway, I decided to try this cool dessert and milkshake spot called EWF – Everything With Fries. The first time I tried their chicken burger, I wasn’t overly impressed. I’m generally not a fan of chicken burgers, except for those at Leon, which are the only ones I make an exception for.

The next day, I went back, and Lloyd suggested I try the double burger, which has two beef patties. The moment I took a bite, I fell in love with it. The burgers are perfectly cooked, and the patties are loaded with cheese and a fantastic sauce. As I think about it, I might just end up going back for dinner tonight.

Everything is so fresh there, even the buns are baked on site, so you can imagine how delicious it all tastes! The fries come in four flavors, lightly seasoned, with sour cream and chives being my favorite. Don’t let the light sprinkle fool you; they pack a flavorful punch! Everything was spot-on—the fries, the burgers, and even the sparkling apple drink, which was guilt-free due to its relatively low-calorie count.

I couldn’t stop there, so I had to have a warm apple crumble with ice cream. It was just as incredible as the burger. A little advice: after a burger and large fries, you’ll be quite full, so sharing dessert might be wise. But, if you’re like me and have a huge appetite, I’d definitely say go for the dessert!
