I know this isn’t technically food, but this Chilli Lemonade recipe is kind of food-related. It’s low in calories and so easy to make that I decided to share it anyway!
Last summer, London was incredibly hot, and since my apartment is on the 20th floor, the water through the pipes got even hotter by the time it reached me! You’d think in a new building someone would have planned for this issue, but nope. Even after letting the tap run for 5 minutes, the water was still hot, or at best, lukewarm. It was unbearable, so I started using bottled water, keeping it in the fridge to make sure I always had a supply of ice-cold water. This is when I came up with my 30-second Chilli Lemonade recipe!
1. Sparkling water: Any brand will work, be it Tesco, Asda, or Morrison. Alternatively, if you really enjoy sparkling water, consider getting a sparkling water machine.
2. Lemons: And maybe limes if you’re up for it.
3. Chilli peppers
4. Sweetener (optional)
By now, you probably have an idea of what to do, right? If not, the Chilli Lemonade recipe can be made in four simple steps!
