Take a look at some of the top beaches to explore while you’re in the USA. Often ranked among the best, Clearwater Beach on Florida’s west coast is a fantastic area to visit. We absolutely loved it for its scenic beauty and the array of bars and restaurants for a refreshing break after a day at the shore. If you prefer a quieter experience, take a boat to Caladesi Island. We spent a day here, and the beaches, along with its trails, are simply stunning. Afterward, head south to St. Pete’s for a more urban vibe. The city boasts a vibrant street art scene, cool bars, and some lovely accommodations.

We stayed at the Don Cesar for a few nights, and it was fantastic.

Moving on, the beaches of Venice and Caspersen are easily some of the best in the USA. Venice Beach is perfect for families, with a dog-friendly section and the opportunity to hunt for prehistoric shark teeth. Don’t miss eating at Sharky’s, right on the beach. For a more tranquil environment, head south to Caspersen Beach, where you can enjoy nature and soak up the sun.

Assateague Island’s beaches span over 37 miles (60 km) and are perfect for kayaking, beach camping, and horse riding. With 300 wild horses roaming the area, it’s a must-visit location.
