  • Exploring Copenhagen: A Weekend Adventure (Part 1)

Exploring Copenhagen: A Weekend Adventure (Part 1)

Our travel plans kicked off, as usual, over dinner when Yaya and I felt the urge to explore again. Denmark had always been on my list of destinations to visit soon, yet somehow, I never made it there. Surprisingly, despite its proximity to London—just a 1 hour and 20-minute flight away—it wasn’t until 2015 that…

Refreshing Chilli Lemonade Recipe – Low-Calorie and Ideal for a Cleanse Diet

I know this isn’t technically food, but this Chilli Lemonade recipe is kind of food-related. It’s low in calories and so easy to make that I decided to share it anyway! Last summer, London was incredibly hot, and since my apartment is on the 20th floor, the water through the pipes got even hotter by…

  • A Day in Montpellier: Exploring the Charms of Southern France

A Day in Montpellier: Exploring the Charms of Southern France

After a satisfying lunch with martinis, we set out to uncover more of Montpellier, starting with some hidden treasures right in the open. Our first discovery was a 13th-century Mikvé. Before coming to Montpellier, I didn’t know what a Mikvé was, but thanks to a last-minute tour we booked at the city’s tourism office, I…

A Night of Culinary Delights and Wine Tasting at Casa Montana, Valencia

We arrived in Valencia late in the evening, and even though it wasn’t midnight yet, by the time we got picked up at the airport, checked into our hotel, and prepared for dinner, it was getting pretty close to that hour. Our previous visits to Spain had taught us to expect late dinners, so we…

  • Journey Through Messenia in Western Greece

Journey Through Messenia in Western Greece

I had heard great things about the castle of Methoni, which was built by the Venetians over 800 years ago. The history of Greece never ceases to amaze me; it’s so mystical and ancient. The castle, jutting out into the sea, was completely ours to explore, making the experience surreal. We spent hours wandering through…

This is how it all started…

Every journey begins with a single step. For me, it all began with a deep passion for exploring the unknown and immersing myself in diverse cultures, cuisines, and experiences.

Growing up, I always had a fascination with far-off places. Books, films, and stories from fellow travelers were my window into a world that seemed so vast and full of potential. However, it wasn’t until I embarked on my first solo trip that I truly realized the transformative power of travel. That trip opened my eyes to the beauty of stepping outside of my comfort zone and embracing the unpredictable.

It wasn’t long before traveling became more than just a hobby—it became a way of life. I began to document my adventures, not just for myself but for others who, like me, sought to discover new places, try new foods, and adopt new perspectives. I wanted to share the little-known gems, the experiences that can only be found off the beaten path, and the simple joys that come with exploring the world.

Travel’d Blog was born out of this desire to connect with others who love travel, food, and discovering clever life hacks that make the journey all the more enjoyable. I wanted to create a space where people could find inspiration for their next trip, whether it’s a weekend getaway or an around-the-world adventure.

But this blog isn’t just about me—it’s about you, the reader. It’s about creating a community of travelers who share stories, tips, and experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer or someone just starting to dream about their next vacation, Travel’d Blog is here to guide you through every step of the way.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s explore the world, one story at a time.
