Explore the World’s Loftiest Outdoor Bar!

Explore the World's Loftiest Outdoor Bar!

Looking for a spot with incredible cocktails, entertainment, and breathtaking 360-degree views that stretch across multiple countries? You have to check out 1-Altitude in Singapore! Just to put it out there, this is not a paid post; I’m just sharing one of Singapore’s great experiences.

Here’s what you need to know about 1-Altitude:

Location: 1 Raffles Place, Singapore 048616
Contact: +65 6438 0410
Entry Fee: $30, which is quite reasonable for the stunning views alone. Similar to paying for views at the Empire State Building or The Shard, plus you get a complimentary drink with your entry (alcohol can be pricey in Singapore).

Layout: The venue is spread over three floors. The top floor is known as the Gallery, offering amazing views just above the bar. There are also two other floors featuring a nightclub and a café/restaurant. You definitely want to be at the Gallery for those views!

Opening Hours:

– Altimate (The Club):
– Sunday: 10 am – 1 am
– Monday to Thursday & Public Holidays: 10 am – 2 am
– Friday, Saturday & Eve of Public Holiday: 10 am – 4 am

– Stellar (Cafe/Restaurant):
– Monday to Friday: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm and 6 pm – 12 am
– Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday: 6 pm – 12 am

– Gallery & Bar (With the views and drinks!):
– Sunday: 6 pm – 1 am
– Monday to Thursday: 6 pm – 2 am
– Friday, Saturday & Eve of Public Holiday: 6 pm – 4 am

Ambiance: The crowd is wonderfully diverse, including both locals and expats. It’s a perfect spot for a night out, and the late closing time makes it a versatile venue where you can enjoy drinks at the bar or party across its various sections.

Prices: Be ready for typical Singapore drink prices, which are on the high side. To save on costs, you might consider pre-drinking elsewhere or at Boat Quay, where drinks are more affordable, before heading to 1-Altitude for a change of scenery.

Dress Code: Smart casual is the way to go. While formal wear isn’t necessary, avoid flip flops and shorts, as they may deny you entry.

Additional Tips: If a wild night isn’t on your agenda, bring a camera to capture the incredible views. Keep in mind the Gallery is open-air, so it might close if it rains. And don’t forget your dancing shoes! A few cocktails in, and even the most reserved dancers will find themselves grooving to the music.

Simply put, visiting 1-Altitude is a must when in Singapore; few places match its height or unique charm.
